About this postcard

Color lithographic view of the Bank of Poplar Bluff's Neo-Classical stone building at 200 S. Main Street. The classical-revival facade features prominent columns flanking a grand arched entrance, with the date legend '1886 BANK OF POPLAR BLUFF 1914' carved into the stone lintel above the doorway. An American flag is mounted on the roof, and ornate iron-style street lamps stand in front of the bank. A neighboring storefront, Missouri Public Utilities Co., is visible through the door glass at right.
