A Visit To The Poplar Bluff Museum
🏛️ A Visit to the Poplar Bluff Museum
If you’re interested in the history of Poplar Bluff, the Poplar Bluff Museum is one of the most important places to start.
We recently spent time visiting with the museum and exploring their collections, and we were genuinely impressed by the depth of resources, historic images, artifacts, and stories they preserve. It’s a place where local history isn’t just displayed — it’s cared for, protected, and shared.
As we continue building Historic Poplar Bluff, our goal is to work alongside local institutions, organizations, and community members to help highlight and preserve our shared history. That includes collaborating on stories, historic sites, events, media, and anything else that helps keep Poplar Bluff’s past visible and accessible.
If you haven’t visited the Poplar Bluff Museum recently, we highly recommend stopping by and taking the time to explore what they have to offer.
We'll be making our way back there soon to uncover more stories and places we can share with you. But don't forget, you can search for these yourself from 1:00pm - 4:00pm on Sundays at the old Mark Twain School on Main Street in Poplar Bluff, MO.
