Plans are already in motion for Union Pacific Railroad’s legendary Big Boy 4014 to tour again in 2026, and we’re hopeful it may once again roll through Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

When Big Boy last passed through, it was a powerful reminder of our community’s deep railroad history and the role Poplar Bluff has played along the rails. We’ll be watching closely and sharing updates as routes and dates are announced.

Here’s hoping the sound of that historic whistle echoes through town again at the Poplar Bluff Historic Train Depot soon!
