What if we could preserve a Poplar Bluff historic home?
What if… someday, Historic Poplar Bluff could help preserve a home like the Corrigan House?
The Corrigan House in Poplar Bluff is currently for sale, and it sparked a little wishful thinking for us.
We would genuinely love the opportunity, one day, to own and preserve a historic home like this — and to share it with the community as a place for local history, stories, and small educational programs.
This is not a project in progress and we are not affiliated with the property or its sale — just a hopeful idea inspired by seeing one of Poplar Bluff’s historic homes come back on the market.
But it made us curious…
If a historic home like the Corrigan House could be preserved and shared with the public in the future, how would you like to see it used?
A small local history space?
Community programs?
Exhibits?
School and youth activities?
Sometimes preservation begins with a simple “what if.”
