Archer Gift Co.

Archer Gift Co. opened in December 2020 at the historic 416 Vine Street storefront in downtown Poplar Bluff. Owner Tad Long created the shop to bring a distinctive retail experience to the city, combining locally made items with carefully selected brands and gifts. The storefront regularly hosts painting, pottery and other creative classes and events, giving downtown visitors a reason to come through the doors of an old commercial building. Archer Gift Co. occupies the same property that served as a livery stable, an automobile garage and an automobile dealership before becoming a downtown retail location — a long run of continued commercial use that has helped keep the building standing.
